Established in 1953 Kilcoy State High School currently has 460 students, and is steadily growing. The school is recognised locally and internationally for its innovative and progressive programs including our key signature 'Deep Learning' initiatives. Kilcoy is a rural town of over 2000 people and is only a short drive of approximately an hour to the Sunshine Coast and to Brisbane, with many staff commuting each day. Our school vision is 'Expecting the Best, Achieving Success' and is enacted through our Framework For Success which focusses on positive relationships, student diversity, multiple pathways and teacher excellence.

**Here is a snapshot of the expectations of the role**: - Teaching load allocation
- Advocating and Case Management - Students included in the NCCD- Use data to identify, plan for and deliver focused/intensive teaching opportunities in literacy, numeracy and personal and social capabilities as required
- Build and support staff capability in understanding, developing and implementing ICP's
- Build and support staff capability in understanding, developing and implementing QCIA goals
- Knowledge and understanding of current legislation and Policy relating to Diversity and Inclusive Education
