**About the role**

We have an exciting opportunity available for a Home Caring Team Leader to join our team

This role will see you being responsible for the day-to-day management of the team, operations and administrative tasks. As the primary point of contact, you will be providing leadership, support and supervision to the team and act as a mentor and guide, modelling best-practice principles with a person-centred approach.

The team leader position would be suited to you if you are confident in supporting people with personal care and medical needs. Building rapport and taking the time to get to know each person you’re working with is essential. A major part of your role is supporting individuals to build community connections and natural support networks.

- 24/7 Care
- Must have 5 years of experience including 1 year minimum in complex care ( not behaviour complex but physical complex) and leadership skills
- High Intensity care
- Catheter care
- Bowel Care
- Hoist Transfer
- Ventilation knowledge (cpap and bipap machine)
- Medication
- Personal Care
- Meal Preparation
- Leadership skills
- Problem solving
- Ability to deal with conflicts and complaints
- Know when to escalate, excellent in both written and communication skills

**Your Skills and Experience**

To be successful in the role, you will require the following:

- Previous experience working in a leadership or management role
- Previous experience in the Disability Care sector
- Have a background in Nursing (Desired but not essential)
- Sound knowledge of the NDIS framework
- Covid-19 Vaccination Passport (3 x doses)
- NDIS worker screening clearance
- First Aid Certificate
- Working With Children Check
- Current Driver’s Licence (P2 or above) and access to a reliable vehicle.

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $35.00 - $41.00 per hour
