Griffith University is seeking to engage a locally based consultant to undertake marketing and agent support activities for the recruitment of international students. This is a great opportunity for a high performing individual to work with the dynamic Griffith International team and make an impact in the lives of future Griffith University students.

Griffith University has a long and highly valued relationship with Indonesia, through research and collaboration, and an ever-growing network of alumni. With a locally based representative, Griffith International will provide increased support to its education agents and strategic partners, enhance the standing of the University’s profile, and assist with the recruitment of students and provision of international student support.

**Job Description**:
The consultant is primarily responsible for the development and implementation of marketing plans and initiatives to support the recruitment of international students from Indonesia. The consultant will work closely with the Regional Marketing Director to support and manage the University’s agent network, strategic partner network and key stakeholders to ensure that recruitment targets are met. This position will represent the University in meetings with government departments and institutional partners, as well as develop and maintain strong relationships with the recruitment agent network and schools in Indonesia.
- This is a _full-time, two year appointment based in Indonesia_ and will require travel throughout the region, including some overseas travel._

**Remuneration**
A competitive remuneration package will be negotiated on a fee for service basis with the successful consultant. This is not an expatriate package position.

**Qualifications**:
The successful consultant will hold a relevant tertiary qualification and subsequent relevant experience in international education recruitment, and will speak fluent English and Bahasa Indonesia. They will have experience in the development and implementation of international marketing plans in the education sector, and the ability to identify and develop student recruitment opportunities.

The contractor must possess detailed knowledge of the Australian international and higher education sector and its regulatory framework, and be able to liaise with Indonesian institutions and Government organisations. The contractor will possess exceptional interpersonal skills, including strong oral and written communication skills, consultation and negotiation skills, and have the ability to operate successfully in a cross-cultural environment.
