Overview:
As a Childcare Director, you will oversee the daily operations of a childcare facility, ensuring the provision of high-quality care and education for young children. You will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that promotes the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of each child. Additionally, you will manage staff, maintain regulatory compliance, communicate with parents, and handle administrative tasks to ensure the smooth functioning of the childcare center. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and make decisions in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and accreditation processes. Commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in early childhood education.

Key Responsibilities:

- Been a Centre director previously for 3-5 years
- Strong leadership / management and interpersonal skills
- Has previously gone through A&R with a successful outcome
- Strong understanding of QIP
- Provide strong leadership to childcare staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Supervise and evaluate staff performance, providing support, feedback, and professional development opportunities.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and programs to enhance the quality of childcare services.
- Ensure compliance with licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and accreditation requirements.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with parents, providing regular communication and updates on their child's progress.
- Develop and manage the childcare center's budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to financial policies.
- Coordinate and facilitate staff training sessions on topics such as child development, behavior management, and safety procedures.
- Promote ongoing professional development opportunities for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge in early childhood education.

**Qualifications**:

- **Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education or a Diploma in Early childhood.
