**About this role**:
We are looking for someone to help scale Stake by empowering it with data, reporting and analytical insights. We embrace an evidence-based culture here at Stake; reporting into the Head of Data, your role will be to work with product/business managers, stakeholders, and data scientists, as well as data analysts and analytics engineers to build and own a suite of data models, reports, metrics, and dashboards for a specific area of the product/business.

Collaboration will be key in this position, as you will connect with all areas of the business to:

- Understand the technical and business larger picture around your work
- Implement business models, driven by stakeholders requirements and supported by software engineering and data management best practices
- Build data science functions to accompany the analytics engine
- Assist stakeholders with research and analysis to test their hypotheses and ideas via experimentation, to make better and faster business decisions
- Collaborate with the team to design and build the data transformation jobs in the warehouse, to empower self-service, provide reliable data and support operational, analytical and reporting needs
- Contribute to the full life cycle of data models: data analysis, data preprocessing and pipeline, modelling, productisation and visualisation
- Articulating analytics results and experimentation to technical and non-technical audiences
- Amplify data literacy and curiosity throughout the whole company through creative initiatives and collaboration.

**A bit about you**:

- At least 2-3 years of experience in using SQL and Python to automate and optimise data loading, implement transformation systems and analyse data
- Experience wrangling and analysing data using Python
- Ability to create beautiful, easily understood visualisations that tell a story, using BI solutions
- Experience in structured problem solving and supporting stakeholders to produce creative solutions
- Proven ability to communicate with stakeholders and understand core tasks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex data issues.
