About the role We are seeking a Data Analyst to join our Program Analytics and Reporting Team where you will play a vital role in supporting the monitoring, review and delivery of the Growing Careers Project and other programs that have a long-lasting impact on children and families.
This is a hands-on role, open to early career or experienced data analysts that can demonstrate required skills and experience.
You'll become part of a small, collaborative and highly productive team where your analysis and expertise will make a difference every day.
Reporting to the Program Analytics & Reporting Manager and working alongside dedicated, energised, and passionate team members, you will: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and translate their data and reporting needs into solutions Create dashboards and reports that turn data into useful and actionable insights that inform decision making Collect, cleanse, interpret and analyse data to find answers to specific business questions Prepare quarterly and semester reporting for the Growing Careers Project Consolidate key data for inclusion in The Smith Family's Annual Impact Report or program outcome reports Support data related queries and guiding effective data practices and data driven decision making Develop resources that improve business processes around using and recording data About you As well as passion for community, you will bring the following: Tertiary qualifications or equivalent work experience Data extraction and analysis skills using SQL on relational datasets Experience in Power BI and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (complex formulas and pivot tables)Excellent analytical and communication skills for synthesising and summarising data Curiosity, strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills A continuous improvement mindset, able to progress amidst change and ambiguity Employees are at the centre of The Smith Family's values and operations.
