**About the role**:
The Patient Food Services Assistant Supervisor (FSAS) oversees the daily operations of the Patient Kitchen team, ensuring the safe preparation, delivery, and hygiene of patient meals. This role involves supervising staff, managing food storage and meal preparation, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations, while promoting a safe and efficient work environment. **This is a full-time opportunity, as such will need to be able to work across a 7-day roster, including early morning and afternoon shifts.**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and support the Patient Kitchen staff, ensuring high standards of food preparation, delivery, and hygiene.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards, including the Downer RAH HACCP Food Safety Plan and SA Food Act regulations.
- Monitor the storage and rotation of food items, adhering to FIFO principles and ensuring proper handling to prevent cross-contamination.
- Oversee meal preparation, ensuring meals are presented attractively and meet patient dietary needs and menu requirements.
- Lead by example in promoting a safe, clean, and efficient working environment, adhering to all Zero Harm safety guidelines.
