**The role**:
We are currently seeking a Specialist Cleaning Technician to join our dynamic team. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical cleaning service, and maintenance of cleaning equipment and machinery owned by BIC Consolidated across our many worksites.

This role is a permanent, full-time position based in Melbourne, supporting our operations region across Victoria.

**Please note this position will be predominantly working after hours and based on a rotating schedule.**

**You will be responsible for these key areas**:
Working closely with the wider Operations teams, you will be responsible for planning repairs, maintenance needs and checks, these duties include but are not limited to:

- Use of machinery
- Hard/Soft Floor Maintenance
- Window Cleaning
- Steam cleaning of soft furnishings and upholstery
- Carpet cleaning and spot treatment
- Pressure washing of external surfaces and building facades
- Emergency after-hours jobs as needed
- Assist with staff training on the use of machines as needed
- Ensure compliance with all OH&S and chemical handling regulations
- Maintain accurate service records and follow safety procedures

**Qualifications** Qualifications & experience**
- Proven experience as a Cleaning Technician
- Familiarize with cleaning machinery and equipment
- Strong focus on creating and maintaining a safe working environment
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple sites

**Requirements**:

- You must have full work rights within Australia
- A mechanical tertiary qualification would be beneficial
- A current Police Check
- A full Drivers License
