**What this opportunity involves**:
JLL is seeking a dynamic Retail Manager to join our Property Asset Management teams Retail Portfolio. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with Woodgrove Shopping Centre in Melton West, a large shopping precinct.

**An overview of the role**:

- Assist in delivering the centres’ business plan objectives and budgets
- Contribute to income maximisation by ensuring timely collection of rentals, outgoings, turnover rentals, promotion levies, and other tenant recoverable
- Work with the Admin Manager and Centre Manager to aggressively reduce arrears
- Assist in preparing and implementing Income and Expenditure Budgets
- Manage relationships with clients, tenants, and community groups
- Provide on-demand services to clients
- Establish and maintain harmonious relationships with local business community
- Contribute to marketing strategies in conjunction with Marketing Managers
- Assist the Operations Team in maintaining high standards of security and cleanliness
- Oversee centre operations, including OH&S compliance
- Participate in emergency management training and events
- Ensure retailers adhere to lease obligations
- Manage tenancy delivery processes, including documentation for new retailers
- Handle assignment of leases within Retail Leases Act timeframes
- Maintain accurate tenancy schedules
- Ensure legal compliance across all centre operations
- Prepare documentation for mediation or legal proceedings
- Assist in client reporting and respond promptly to internal information requests
- Complete accident/incident reports and manage public liability claims
- Verify appropriate insurance coverage for retailers, contractors, and casual mall lessees

**Sound like you?**This is what we’re looking for**:

- Proven retail management experience
- Strong financial capabilities and budgeting skills
- In-depth knowledge of the Retail Leases Act
- Agents Rep / Real Estate License required
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Proficiency in computer systems and software relevant to retail property management
- Experience in preparing business cases and reports
- Understanding of OH&S requirements in a retail environment
