Ikon Civil is a civil construction company located in Melbourne.

Due to our company being awarded multiple new projects we are seeking skilled Cable Haulers with experience preferably in the communications and rail industry, for cable installation works.

**About the role**

We are looking for several professional personnel with good experience as mandatory in the field to supply the high demand for this long-term new contract.

**Skills and experience**

What we need from you:

- Experience in Fibre cable hauling is a must
- CAN do attitude
- Exceptionalproblem-solving and numeracy skills-SW do we need this?
- Eager to learn new skills
- The ability to read and interpret plans
- High level of attention to detail and very thorough
- The ability to teach new skills to junior staff
- Physically fit and hard working
- White card
- Victorian Driver’s License
- Self-motivated
- Team player and able to work autonomously.
- High level of professionalism and work ethic
- HR Licence, RIW card, Implement Traffic Management plans and First Aid would be an advantage but not essential.
- This position will entail significant work away from home so the ability to be away from home Mon-Fri is essential.

**Salary**: $28.00 - $40.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Morning shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Melbourne VIC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
