**Job Description**:
This position is a pivotal role working closely with key Ability Action Australia personnel to ensure NDIS participants are supported to achieve their goals. The Concierge Officer is responsible for providing positive and proactive service to all stakeholders from initial query through to service delivery, supporting NDIS participants to get more out of life today. This is a clinic based role.
**On a daily basis, you will**:
- Efficiently and effectively allocate referrals to ensure that NDIS participants are provided appropriate services promptly
- Work closely with all NDIS stakeholders to convert enquiries to referrals whilst maintaining exceptional customer service
- Provide guidance, support and advice to Participants and others regarding our services and the broader scheme
- Work collaboratively with operational staff and leaders to ensure a positive intake and service delivery experience
- Manage new and existing funding requests to ensure NDIS funds are available for service
- Provide high quality and individually tailored advice to participants who are navigating the NDIS
- Ensure robust case management activity with all activity entered into the system, ensuring all progress, plans, communications and interactions with participants and stakeholders are clearly documented
- A sound understanding of person-centered thinking, the principles of the NDIS and the National Disability Service Standards, with experience working within the NDIS and/or disability sector
- Experience in an intake or similar role (desirable)
- Case management or related experience
- Exceptional customer engagement skills and experience, delivering high quality, individually tailored service
- Highly developed communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently, set own priorities, work to targets and respond to a changing environment
- Ability to understand and work within prescribed systems and procedures
