**About the role**

We are looking for passionate individuals to join our Family and Mental Health team in the role of Child Family and Community Worker - Community Strengthening.

The Child Family and Community Worker - Community Strengthening is a key service delivery position responsible for providing community information, advice and referrals, brief intervention advocacy and support, welcoming room users and interagency partners, facilitating social participation groups and community events, delivering high-quality services and activities with families and community members. The position will successfully implement the Targeted Early Intervention (TEI) Community Centre program in the local area, support community stakeholders and leaders, provide updates on local program performance and outcomes, and contribute to the positive impact Intereach makes in our communities.

Child Family and Community Workers are part of the service delivery team at Intereach and contribute to the realisation of the organisational plan through practice that helps achieve outcomes of targeted and sustainable growth, delivering quality and impact, and becoming the destination employer.

This position requires community connectedness, advocacy, and groupwork skills, working with cultural diversity, trauma informed practice and a deep understanding of the unique challenges of families and community members in regional towns, to deliver successful and impactful programs. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact with families across your local community.

There are two part time positions available based in Cootamundra and Finley.

This role will be paid in line with the Social Community Home Care and Disability Services Award and can be between $85,126.08 - $91,587.60 depending on qualification and experience.
