**Role**: Experienced Domestic Care Assistant and Personal Care Worker

**Location**: Leeton and Narrandera region

**Rate**:$28.01p/h - $31.38p/h + Super + $0.92 per KM + paid travel time

**Shift**: Day - Monday to Friday

**Contract**:Part-Time and Casual

**Your New Role**

Our Home Health program delivers in-home support services to our customers to help them live independently, supported and empowered, within their own homes and communities.
- **Please Note: This is not a position within a Residential Aged Care facility.**_

**What does your new role look like?**
- Providing support to clients with domestic assistance duties such as cleaning, laundry and meal preparation
- **Experienced** Care Workers assist customers with assisted daily living tasks such as; showering, dressing, medication management, assisting with mobility and therapy goals _(You will require a minimum Certificate III in Individual Support/Disability/ Community Services or completed 1 year of a Nursing Degree)_
- Social support, transportation to appointments, shopping and social outings
- Building and maintaining strong and effective relationships with clients and their families
- Adhering to health and safety guidelines and policies to keep yourself and our customers safe
- Reporting any issues or changes in the customer's health and wellbeing through the appropriate channels and protocols

**About You**
- Flexibility and availability to work rosters between Monday to Friday (daytime hours only)
- A current Australian Driver's Licence and ownership of a reliable, well presented, comprehensively insured vehicle
- All Australian Unity employees must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

**Salary**: $28.01 - $31.38 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 30 per week
