This position is full-time and will be based at Reynella, however will involve travel to various locations on a roster basis to support our community gardening program. The role requires an individual with significant gardening experience. Interested parties with a horticultural qualification and a "handy person" skill-set would be highly regarded. This is a client facing role where you’ll be engaging daily with elderly residents, working on key activities that include landscaping, planting, pruning, shrub and tree selection, mulching and irrigation repairs. A National Crime Check clearance for working with the Aged will be obtained as a requirement for this position. A valid Fist aid / CPR certificate is also required. **The Person** The person we are seeking will be a self starter with excellent time management and the ability to effectively prioritise work schedules. You will be a person who takes pride in their work and works well as part of a team. Your well developed interpersonal skills, strong customer service focus and positive "can-do" attitude will ensure your success in this role and will contribute to the quality service provided by Life Cares Property Services team. - Trade qualifications or equivalent experience in gardening, grounds maintenance services and or landscaping (desired) - Unencumbered current SA drivers licence - a tool of trade vehicle will be provided for community - NCC Police Clearance for Working with Aged Care / Vulnerable Groups - Seasonal Flu Vaccination and COVID-19 vaccinations **Life Care is an equal opportunity employer Please include a **cover letter** as the **first page** of your resume.
