**The Opportunity**

Aveo is seeking a highly motivated **Assistant Community Manager **to join Robertson Park Retirement Village, located in Robertson QLD. As our Assistant Community Manager, you will work closely with the Community Manager and residents to help ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the community. Your person-centred approach to your work and ability to connect with our residents will help you be successful. This role is a customer-facing role where you will be required to be organised, fast-paced and friendly.

**This is a permanent full-time opportunity, working Monday-Friday. Start and finish times are negotiable.**

**You will**:

- Support the residents & their families, internal stakeholders and external contractors
- Provide support to the Community Manager in managing the daily operations of entire village services including safety, security, and maintenance
- Support the Residents Social Committee in the running of activities and events such as Resident Happy Hours
- You will monitor and review village compliance in relation to the Retirement Villages Act and ensure all policies & procedures are being adhered to
- Assist with budget development & financial management
- Provide coverage during leave absences of the Administration Assistant

**What you'll bring**:

- Experience in an operations-based management role is highly desirable (e.g Hospitality, Hotel/Tourism, Property Management or Facilities Management)
- A passion for supporting people residing in a retirement living environment
- Previous experience in arranging and running events
- Intermediate use of Microsoft Suite and highly computer literate as you will learn new programs
- High-level written and verbal communication and negotiation skills
- Strong focus on results and customer satisfaction
- The ability to speak Mandarin would be desirable
- Current Police Check certificate (required, but we can complete for you)

Pay: $65,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
