**ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY**:
The Property Transactions team is responsible for the provision of professional and expert support in the management and delivery of property advice regarding Council's Property portfolio including leasing, licencing, acquisition and disposal of property.

We have an exciting opportunity within the team for an experienced and professional person to join us in this role. Reporting to the Coordinator Property Transactions, this role works closely in partnership with internal and external stakeholders on all property transactions.

The successful applicant will require:

- Tertiary qualifications in property economics or a property related discipline.
- Previous experience in property management, lease administration and transactions, included but not limited to commercial, retail and residential.
- Experience managing property transactions in a local government setting or with an elected body (desirable).
- Highly developed negotiation, mediation and conflict resolution skills.
- Experience with overall portfolio management, including stakeholder management, tenant liaison, leasing queries, critical dates and debt management.
- High level verbal and written communication, including the ability to prepare Council reports and review documentation such as commercial leases, licenses and easements.
- Class C drivers licence.

**About this role**:

- Permanent, full-time position
- 70 hour fortnight
- Access to Council's 9 day fortnight Accrued Day Off (ADO) arrangement
- Located at Council's Merrylands' office, with occasional travel required across Council worksites, and may be required to work across any of Council’s work locations

**Salary information**: The salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with the NSW Local Government (State) Award.
- Grade 11 of the Cumberland Salary Structure with a salary range of $1,714.07 to $1,971.18 per week, plus 11% superannuation
- The commencing salary will be negotiated, taking into consideration the successful applicant's qualifications, skills and experience related to the role
