Medical Receptionist

We are looking for a Medical Receptionist to fulfill a casual role in our Medical Practice in Maroubra, NSW. The role would suit a **Nursing Student ** as some knowledge of healthcare and medical terminology is desirable**.**
The successful applicant(s) will need to be available to work 1 or 2 days per week on **Tuesdays or Wednesdays** and/or **Thursdays, **(9am to 5pm ) as required by the Practice.
Duties include answering the phone and organising the doctor's appointment book, greeting patients, liaising with aged care facilities and hospital staff over the phone, organising all patient data entry and correspondence, assistance during medical procedures and other duties, as required.
Experience using **Best Practice** and other medical database software is highly desirable.
Excellent communication skills and fluent English are essential (native speaker preferred).
The successful applicant will undergo a probationary period.
