**Your new company**
Our Federal Government client is seeking 2 experienced Windows server / Virtualisation experts to help with maintaining and upgrading their virtual services and servers

**Your new role**
Plan is to expand the departments business operations into cloud environments, the Branch requires the services of up to two experienced Windows Server/Virtualisation Experts to assist with building in house capability and to build and support the environments. Specified personnel should have a proven ability to work within a structured IT governance framework.
Key duties:

- Maintaining, monitoring and upgrading the Virtual Service Environment (VSE) environments and servers in accordance to the vendor’s recommendations, and ensuring fit for purpose;
- Planning, designing, developing, testing and maintaining new or existing virtual service developments in accordance with guidelines and in collaboration with stakeholders;
- Defining and leading the analysis, planning, execution, delivery and performance improvement activities using appropriate tools;
- Promoting the adoption of virtual services through walkthroughs/demos to ICT stakeholders and project teams;
- Providing support and guidance to project teams for maintaining their own virtual service environments.
- Documenting design and patterns for continued use;
- Technical specifications using the Department’s templates;
- Service design documentation

**What you'll need to succeed**

- 2-3 years’ experience implementing and supporting Wintel and VMware Infrastructure with demonstrated competency in two or more of the following competencies:
Windows Server Operating Systems - Active Directory - Microsoft SCCM - Microsoft Hyper-V & VMM - Microsoft SCOM - Microsoft File and Print - VMware ESX & vSphere - VMware vRA - VMware vSAN - VMware NSX - VMware HCI - Microsoft Azure - Microsoft Office 365 - Amazon Web Services - CI/CD-Jenkins, Nexus - Ansible/Puppet
- Demonstrated experience in implementing IT solutions for large, highly integrated government or similar scale private organisations
- Must have negative 1 clearance
