NORTHERN RIVERS IN HOME CARE is a not for profit child care service, servicing the Northern Rivers and Queensland areas.

We are currently seeking a qualified, caring, experienced and professional Educator to work with a Family in Pimpama, Gold Coast.

The family is requiring support to assist with the care of a 3 year old who has complex needs, this role will be ongoing as the child is unable to attend mainstream childcare.

The child has been diagnosed with;
- _Cerebral Palsy_
- _Congenital talipes equinovarus - requiring ongoing splinting_
- _Hirschsprung’s disease - requires additional daily bowel care_

The child has

A genetic disorder that affects her bowels causing her to be susceptible to gastro infections which will cause hospitalisation.

While this is a challenging role it will be rewarding and beneficial for those Educators wanting to work in the area of children with special needs.

**Days and Times required**:
Monday to Friday

7am to 3pm

**Hourly rate**:
$35.50 per hour

**Criteria**:
All our Educators are engaged as Independent Contractors are required to have the following:

- _Min. Certificate III in Children’s Services_
- _Hold a current First Aid **HLTAID012 **and CPR Certificate **HLTAID009**_
- _Blue Card and Police Clearance_
- _PRODA ID (will be required to obtain prior to commencement of care)_
- _Liability Insurance (will be required to obtain if successfully placed)_
- _Medical Clearance (prior to commencement of care)_
- _Child Protection (refresher required every 2 years)_
- _ABN_
- _Photo ID_
