**Northern Rivers In Home Care is a not for profit In Home Care Child Care Service servicing the Northern Rivers area and Gold Coast.**

We seeking a qualified educator to provide before
- and after-school care for a 6-year-old with complex and challenging needs in Pimpama. Your role will be to support the family with the mornings and afternoons routines.

The child has ASD level 3 so can be prone to emotional meltdowns when dysregulated and overwhelmed so it is essential that the Educator has experience working with children with ASD and is confident with redirecting to other activities. Confidence is essential.

**Please ensure you read the prerequisites listed below for this role.**

**Days and Times required**:
Monday to Friday

6am to 9am

3pm to 6pm

**Hourly rate**:$40.00 per hour negotiable

**The successful applicant will have the following prerequisites**:

- Min Certificate III in Children’s Services (ACECQA approved)
- Hold a current First Aid and CPR Certificate (in a childcare setting)
- Blue Card
- Police Clearance (less than 6 months old)
- Public liability insurance (once successfully placed)
- Medical Clearance
- Child Protection (refresher required every 2 years)
- ABN (this role is for a self employed/contractor)
- Photo ID
- PRODA RA (the office will assist you with this)
- Be over the age of 18 years old.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $40.00 per hour
