**Community Support Worker**
**From $33.41 an hour plus 25% casual loading**
**Northern Beaches and North Sydney**

**Are you looking to gain valuable work experience while you study? Consider a casual role with our team. Regular work around your classes
We’re guessing if you’re studying to be an OT, speech pathologist, nurse, paramedic, psychologist, or dietitian you have some interest in supporting people.

You’ll provide dignity and respect as you support with the everyday tasks an able-bodied person may be for granted.
You’ll build skills together as you navigate the everyday - friends, hobbies, work, cooking, taking the bus, gardening, getting dressed, it could be anything
You’ll support people to stay connected to their community through work and social activities (the courage to drive a van in Sydney helps considerably).
You’ll be there through the reality that many of the people we support experience each day - medications, trips to the doctor or specialists, complex medical needs, and the challenges of communicating when the rest of the world doesn’t immediately understand what you’re trying to say.
And there’s documentation. Which usually isn’t fun but it’s an absolute necessity so let’s just get it done.

In the end it’s all about people peopleing, in the best way we can.
