Our Disability Support Workers provide high quality, professional and individualised support by being actively involved with each participant through assisting within their home and surrounding community.

To be successful in this role, you will be passionate about providing the best, individualised support possible to people of all abilities and backgrounds.

We're looking for someone who:

- Has excellent people skills, and a sound understanding of NDIS requirements.
- Can work on a 24/7 rotating roster in the Gold Coast and Logan areas.
- Is passionate about supporting individuals to realise their full potential.
- Administering personal care, including assistance with bathing, toileting, dressing, and grooming
- Has experience supporting participants in Supported Independent Living, advocating for their choices, and empowering, supporting, and enabling participants to achieve their goals and live their best lives.
- Wants to build independence and capacity of participants
- Has at least one year of experience
- Values honesty and integrity and has a proven track record when it comes to displaying these values in employment.
- Can set clear, consistent, and kind boundaries and can follow employment guidelines set out for you to the letter.
- Is flexible in your service delivery and can adapt to your surroundings and the needs of participants that require our support services.
- Is an empathic person who is a great listener and believes in precision and order.

**Essential Requirements Include**:

- Minimum of 1 years’ experience in a care role,
- Be available to work weekends and sleepovers
- The ability to problem solve, read cues, adapt and respond calmly in any situation
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working With Children’s Check (Blue Card)
- Current QLD Drivers Licence
- Current First Aid & CPR
- National Police Check (issued within the last 3 months)
- Right to Work in Australia evidence
- Minimum Cert III in Individualised Support or other relevant industry qualification

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 per week

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- Weekend availability

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (preferred)
- National Police Certificate (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Work Location: In person
