As a new entrant to early childhood education, we will support your journey to Earn & Learn as you build foundational knowledge and have enhanced experience within the early childhood education and care (ECEC) industry. Our clients centre leadership team will help guide you through each day, ensuring that you feel a sense of belonging with continuous support and your dedicated RTO trainer and assessor will provide ongoing best practice advice on, knowledge and skills to facilitate your understanding of the industry requirements.

Through our self paced online education model and on the job training directed by our partners qualified trainers you will be supported to undertake the following key responsibilities.
- Ensuring that children are constantly supervised in accordance with regulations.
- Having opportunities to have direct contact with children to support their learning and development.
- Engaging in arrival and settling in routines to tackle separation anxiety in accordance service policy on handling children’s emotional and psychological wellbeing.
- Attending to all children’s age appropriate physical developmental needs.
- Participate in planning and delivery of Early childhood curriculum based on National Learning Framework (NLF), National Quality Standards (NQS) and the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF).
- Work hand in hand with supervisor and team leaders to program plan by undertaking observations of individual and groups of children, plan, implement activities, reflect and evaluate them in accordance with NQS and VEYLDF.
- Providing feedback to supervisor and/or Educational Leader on room/centre curriculum enhancement and seeking feedback on personal development and learning.

**Role Requirements**:

- A demonstrated commitment to providing a safe, caring, non-judgemental and supportive environment for all children and their families.
- Exercise fairness and equity with ability to embrace diversities.
- A commitment to understand and adhere to all standards, frameworks and codes regulating early childhood care services, such as those listed above and including the ECA Code of Ethics and the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child.
- Demonstrated understanding of appropriate behaviours while engaging with children.
- Current Valid Working with Children Check as a mandated requirement to work with children.
- You must have a genuine desire and passion to build your career within early childhood education and care sector.

**Eligibility Criteria**:

- Be an Australian citizen or permanent resident to access course funding or this can be offered as fee for service
- Be willing to commit to a 12-month training program to get qualified
- Covid & flu vaccine, current police & WWC check maybe needed.
