Offset Printer Position

Your main tasks will be producing high-quality printing on Heidelberg one colour and two colour GTO52’s as well as guillotining jobs.

To be successful in this position, applicants must possess high attention to detail, be flexible, confident and self-motivated, have good communication skills and work well both autonomously and as part of a team.

**Duties and skills**:

- Spot-colour offset printing
- Guillotining print jobs
- Produce high-quality offset printing as per the instruction provided via the job ticket
- Liaise with the designer in having forms designed up and any tricky plates needing to be ordered.
- Good time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise workload
- Be open to working overtime when required
- Follow any work, safety, or procedural instructions
- Participate in the continued implementation of ISO/FSSC policies which specifically include a clean, tidy and safe work area
- Report any equipment faults/breakdowns and assist where possible in the resolution of said faults/breakdowns
- Manage systems and processes to reduce quality issues from raw material through to finished goods
- Implement customer-specific quality requirements

Experience with other facets of the printing trade (ie; digital press, platen, laminators etc ) would be beneficial but not essential in selecting the successful applicant as training can be provided if necessary.

**Only experienced Offset printers will be considered for this position.**
Remuneration will be negotiated based on the applicant's experience and skill set.

**Salary**: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
