**The Company**

Join a globally recognised product manufacturer in a key role to drive safety and sustainability (S&S) across VIC & PNG which is inclusive of one of their flagship manufacturing facilities. This role will be responsible for implementing S&S strategies to ensure significant risks are effectively managed together with playing a huge impact on delivering against the businesses sustainability goals in all areas of the operation. The role will predominantly be based out of Craigieburn with travel across Melbourne.

**The Role**

Reporting to the S&S Business Lead - ANZ your responsibilities will include the following:

- Enable effective and efficient management of significant safety risks, ensuring clear differentiation between high consequence risks.
- Enable effective and efficient management of significant sustainability risks and opportunities, including products and operations.
- Enable effective and efficient continuous development of people capability and S&S culture.
- Engage and influence site leaders in creating a proactive / generative S&S culture through their actions and behaviours.

**Your Background**

In order to be successful in this role, you will:

- Have extensive experience across either/ or both safety and sustainability within a complex manufacturing organisation.
- Have a strong track record in driving a safety culture across the business.
- Have a thorough understanding of OH&S legislation and the ability to educate and train.
