**About the Role**

We’re looking for compassionate and experienced support workers to join our friendly team in our Supported Independent Living (SIL) Homes in Coorparoo and Macgregor. If you have a passion for supporting individuals on the autism spectrum and promoting their independence, we would love to hear from you

**Qualifications & Experience**
- Certificate III in Individual Support, Certificate IV in Disability, or similar qualifications preferred but not essential.
- A strong passion for supporting individuals with autism and a commitment to ongoing learning.
- Experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum is highly regarded.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with participants, families, and other key stakeholders.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check required before commencing employment.
- Availability for 2-3 shifts per week, including nights and sleepovers.
- A current driver’s license and reliable transport.

**Tasks & Responsibilities**
- Provide person-centred support to participants, focusing on their individual needs, strengths, and preferences.
- Implement Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) strategies with training provided.
- Encourage skill development, social engagement, and participation in community activities.
- Assist with daily living tasks, personal care (if required), and routine management.
- Maintain accurate documentation of support activities, progress, and any incidents.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $34.00 - $42.00 per hour

**Benefits**:

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Morning shift
- Shift work

Supplementary Pay:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates
