**Every Day is an Adventure**

Children and Young People in Out-of-Home Care need safe, stable, and nurturing environments. As a **Therapeutic Carer**, you’ll be their guide, their rock, and their biggest supporter, helping them heal, grow, and thrive.

You’ll be there to provide **Therapeutic Interventions and Supports**, creating a positive space where young people can build trust, develop life skills, and start making their own choices. If you’re a natural people-person with a big heart and a steady hand, this could be the perfect fit for you

**What Your Days Might Look Like**

Every day brings something new, but here’s a taste of what you’ll be doing:

- Running a home—cleaning, cooking, and creating a warm, welcoming space.
- Supporting young people’s personal growth, emotional development, and overall well-being.
- Helping them achieve goals set in their **Individual Care Plan**—this covers everything from health and education to social connections and cultural identity.
- Ensuring they stay on top of their health needs and appointments.
- Providing age-appropriate care while also **encouraging independence**.
- Supporting cultural or religious connections—this might mean **going out bush** or accompanying them on return-to-country trips.
- Working with schools to **break down learning barriers** and encourage engagement.
- Organizing **fun activities** like fishing, crafts, and sports to keep them active and happy.

**Who We Are**

At Lifestyle Solutions, we provide Out-of-Home Care for children and young people aged 0-18. From Temporary Care and Group Homes to Community Foster Care and High-Needs Support, we tailor our services to meet the unique needs of each child. Our goal? Creating safe, stable, and happy homes where young people can thrive.

**What We’re Looking For**

We need someone who is:

- **Experienced** in working with young people, particularly in therapeutic settings.
- **Resilient, positive, and passionate** about making a difference.
- **Based in the Perth region** (the role is located in Baldivis).
- **Qualified** (a relevant diploma or equivalent experience).
- **A confident driver** with a valid license.
- **Open to a live-in roster** (week-on, week-off OR two-week-on, two-week-off, including sleepovers).
- **Knowledgeable** about working with children with complex trauma and Out-of-Home Care experience.
