Australia’s leading manufacturer of volume filling machines has vacancies for experienced, full-time individuals with the skills necessary to perform a hybrid role of **Mechanical Fitter/Mechanical Assembler/Pneumatic Technician**.

**We are looking for the following skills**:

- Ability to pick parts and assist with the determination of required vendor and internally made parts.
- Able to determine BOM accuracy from drawings/designs and advise changes where necessary.
- Ability to study & interpret mechanical and pneumatic drawings.
- Experienced in the set up and adjustment of metalworking machines and equipment.
- Able to accurately fit and assemble metal parts, tools, or sub-assemblies.
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments to determine the accuracy, clearance and fit of assembled and fabricated metal parts.
- Able to fit, assemble, and modify pneumatic circuits.
- Able to test and evaluate designs if required.
- Able to check accuracy and quality of finished machinery, parts, or sub-assemblies.
- Able to dismantle faulty tools and assemblies and repair or replace defective parts.
- Able to evaluate a final product’s overall performance, reliability, and safety.
- Must be able to operate equipment and carrying out all work in a safe and efficient manner.
- Ability to work independently and autonomously.
- A knowledge of filling or capping machines is an advantage.

You possess Australian recognised trade qualifications.
