We expect you will:

- Do safety checks as per instructions.
- Ensure that all machine changeovers are performed correctly.
- Be a service to our amazing staff including communicating effectively with the production team leaders.
- Carry out mechanical maintenance duties on equipment in order to achieve production targets and line efficiency.
- Report any maintenance problems which may occur and could disrupt the smooth running of the operation.
- Carry out work to meet any required maintenance schedules.
- Respond to breakdowns by troubleshooting and identifying key issues, and taking corrective action as required.
- Log and complete all work in the maintenance system as listed on the work schedule.
- Read Electric pneumatic and hydraulic schematics and fault find in a safe and efficient manner and make modifications as required.

We are looking for a team member who has:

- Experience with maintaining equipment, fault finding and planned maintenance.
- Loves responding to breakdowns in a timely manner to minimise downtime
- Is passionate to investigate failures and improve systems and processes
- Knowledge of working in a continuous manufacturing environment;
- Experience in Modified atmosphere packaging, vacuum sealing machines and / or Food manufacturing industry;
- We are a flexible work environment driven by our customer and production demands;
You must be self-managed, available to work overtime and/or occasional weekends as required, Our company has a commitment to safety, environment and quality.

**Salary**: $31.24 - $34.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Castle Hill, NSW 2154: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Fitter: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Order Picking Forklift Licence (preferred)
- Forklift Licence (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
