Working as part of the Medical & Like team, this exciting role requires a reliable, empathetic, organised, resilient, customer service driven individual.
You will be managing a portfolio of medical and like only claims undertaking ongoing Medical & Like entitlement reviews in accordance with the Act and WorkSafe guidelines and support workers remain at work and / or maintain their ability to undertake the necessary activities of daily living.
At EML we recognise case management is a team effort - Our Case Managers have designated specialists who work alongside them including RTW Specialists, New Employment Specialists, Technical Specialists, Clinical Advisors, Mental Injury Specialists and our Mobile Case Managers.

These are **full time, permanent** positions based in our **Melbourne CBD office with flexibility to work from home up to three days.**
**YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Manage a portfolio of medical and like only claims
- Undertake ongoing Medical & Like entitlement reviews in accordance with the Act and WorkSafe guidelines
- Support workers remain at work and/or maintain their ability to undertake the necessary activities of daily living
- Demonstrate a Service
- orientated approach that is focused on early intervention and the interests of workers and employers
- Ensure that active and timely strategies are implemented to improve recovery and maintain return to work outcomes
- Provide workers compensation advice in relation to medical and like expenses to stakeholders such as workers, employers and providers
- Assist the worker and employer with the claim process and engage appropriate support services
- Collaborate with the broader EML Team and WorkSafe to support positive outcomes for injured workers
**ABOUT YOU**
- Passion for customer service
- Thrive on working in a team environment and collaborating with others
- Experience managing claims in workers compensation industry or other personal injury and general insurance claims environment
- Knowledge of the Victorian workers compensation scheme, legislation and policies
- preferrable but not a requirement
- Organised with excellent time management
- Committed to supporting injured workers with their recovery and RTW
