**The opportunity**

The role is diverse, and your key responsibility will vary project to project, but you can expect to be performing project-specific Systems Integration duties across a range of clients, which may include:

- Developing plans, programs of work, and supporting the delivery of operational testing (Trial Operations) activities.
- Creating operational readiness and rehearsal plans, processes, and technical systems integration strategies, plans, and roadmaps.
- Developing test plans, test cases, procedures, schedules, and resources for various test campaigns, including lab tests, on-site technical testing, and operational trials.
- Experience in using the IBM ELM test suite, including writing and executing test scripts; building ELM schemas and frameworks
- Experience in hazard identification and risk management, with specialty or background in RAMS and assurance

**About you**
- Bachelor’s degree with experience in managing large, complex projects, particularly on the right side of the V model.
- Proven experience in the comprehensive integration of complex systems, from low-level units and subsystems to end-to-end and operational integration.
- Capable of overseeing project testing and commissioning strategies, prioritizing and sequencing tests, verifying requirements, and determining personnel and equipment needs.
- Strong understanding of Systems Engineering principles, including the interplay between operations, systems assurance, safety, verification and validation (V&V), and their roles in integration, testing, and commissioning.
- Proficiency in using and driving IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management is highly desirable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to accurately convey progress and issues at all levels within Consultant, Contractor, and Client organisations.
- It would be desirable if you have relevant project experience in Systems Engineering across a wide range of industries, including but not limited to rail, Defence, health, aviation and energy. Familiarity with CBTC operations
