EPS Corporate Services (NSW) Pty Ltd’s associated entity Evolution Precast (NSW) specialise in bespoke precast elements to projects of any size and duration, with a wide range of complexity, in various industries, and is currently seeking an experienced metal fabricator to join its production team.

**Role Description**

The responsibilities of this role include following engineering and architectural drawings, using hand and power tools, cutting and bending steel bars and mesh and connecting rebar.

**Responsibilities**:

- Reading and interpreting engineering and architectural drawings
- Using hand and power tools to cut, shape and bend steel bars and mesh
- Laying out steel bars, mesh and framework
- Fixing steel bars and mesh to solid concrete bases
- Joining steel sections using various welding techniques
- Using rebar to build casts for the purpose of setting concrete in place
- Preparing concrete and pouring into the prepared moulds
- Planning and preparing steel stock for production
- Working to a high standard and meeting deadlines
- Work safely
- Attend daily toolbox meetings

Skills and experience required:

- Experience working in metal fabrication and steel fixing
- Experience working within the production of precast concrete industry preferred but not essential
- Can read and interpret engineering and architectural drawings
- Must be hardworking and reliable
- Ability to work in a team environment and alone
- Good physical fitness

**Salary**: From $35.82 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
