- The Corporate Actions & Asset Maintenance team consists of 9 people, all based in Melbourne.
- Our work includes processing corporate action events, dividend entitlements, new assets, maintenance of existing assets (including pricing) and reconciliations.
Your Role
- Daily reporting, reconciliations and checklist completion
- Process and manage all corporate action events including income events (dividends, income, distributions), advising on rights issues, open offers, conversions, redemptions, tender offers, bonus issues and consolidations
- Establish control records for each corporate action
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure events are effectively monitored
- Process new asset set up and maintenance of existing assets ensuring accuracy for all reporting, timely pricing feed and correct tax treatment applied
- Liaison with custodians and business partners
- Ensure adherence to Corporate Risk Policy, Standard Operating Procedures, relevant legislation and regulatory requirements
Your skills & experience
- Minimum 2 years' experience in Operations within Financial Services
- Prior experience in a Corporate Actions and/or Pricing role
- A good understanding and knowledge of Australian Financial Markets
