**About the Role**

Join the Cavpower team working within the Cavrent division, located at Regency Park as they manage an impressive fleet of machines ranging from compact construction equipment for smaller sites to the well-known heavy earthmoving equipment for larger jobs. Reporting to the Manager and having 2 direct and 20 indirect reports the purpose of this role is to drive market share and profitable growth for the Rental business by providing a cost competitive rental service to the marketplace through the optimum utilisation of the rental fleet.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- With a strong focus on staff and operational management the role is responsible for setting strategies in the Rental Operations teams for workforce planning, succession planning, learning and development activities.
- Develop and instruct administration team to adopt a sales approach, negotiating contracts and striving to achieve maximum time utilisation whilst balancing maximum financial utilisation.
- Network with the sales team and Cavpower branch manager team to ensure maximum utilisation of assets across the dealership territory.
- Assist in the effective implementation of the fleet roll out and replacement program ensuring all assets are managed in accordance with the program.
- Work collaboratively with key internal contacts on cross-functional growth initiatives for the dealership.
- A natural people person, this role requires a strong customer service focus with the responsibility to develop strong customer relationships through regular contact and networking with key influencers. Including resolving escalated customer complaints decisively
- Oversee and control key revenue and cost drivers to meet profit targets.
- Monitor rental fleet inventory volumes in all locations and ensure utilisation is spread across the fleet range.

**Skills and Experience**
- Extensive operations management experience gained from within medium to large business in a similar role. Ideally with exposure to Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM’s) or “On Hire” business models.
- Solid knowledge of Sales and Business Development methodologies with specific experience managing customer service culture.
- Strong leadership qualities that can engage, support and drive individuals with a proven track record in staff management
- The ability to relate to customers and work at a fast pace to ensure that customer timeframes and expectations are met
