**The Venue**:
The Camperdown Hotel has just undergone a refresh and offers a fresh and exciting experience in the heart of the Inner West. With its Sports Bar serving a range of premium local and international beers, it caters to thirsty patrons seeking a place to watch the game. The bistro, led by talented chefs, provides a diverse menu to satisfy any hunger. For sports enthusiasts, the live and loud broadcasts in the Sports Bar, complete with TAB and Trackside, create a great sporting atmosphere. The Camperdown Hotel truly has something for everyone, making it a standout destination for locals and visitors alike.

**About the Role**:
As a casual supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our venue while delivering an outstanding experience for our guests. You will lead by example, motivating and supporting our team to deliver exceptional service and maintain our high standards.
- This role will be 4-5 days per week and averaging 30-35 hours.

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the pub, including opening and closing procedures.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the front-of-house team, including servers and bartenders,
- Ensure that all guests receive prompt, friendly, and attentive service.
- Handle guest inquiries, comments, and complaints with professionalism and empathy.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with management to order supplies as needed.
- Assist with staff training, including onboarding new team members and ongoing development.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the pub, including dining areas, restrooms, and behind the bar.

**About You**:

- Previous experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership abilities with a positive and motivating attitude.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including basic understanding of beer, wine, and spirits.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $32.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 35 per week
