The primary purpose of this role is it ensure all claim related performance and service measures are met and claims teams are motivated and operating effectively and efficiently and are enabled to achieve their performance objectives and a strong standing against Allianz competitors.

**About the role**
- Ensure customer expectations and business objectives are met by maximising team performance through the delivery of our strategy, effective case management practices, upholding of standards and continuous improvement of business process.
- Meet the key financial performance objectives (relevant to the team) as prescribed pursuant to performance measurements.
- Keep the teams informed of their performance and create awareness of where their opportunities for improvement are and what we are doing to be better.
- Establish and contribute to broader team culture that enhances staff engagement and commitment to our objectives, ensuring inclusion, enjoyment, and fulfilment.
- Manage internal relationships, modelling team collaboration in resolving issues within and across teams, providing direction and support when escalated.

**About you**
- Experience in leading a team in Workers Compensation or a Personal Injury Scheme.
- Team management and leadership experience in developing high performing teams and building talent pipelines to safeguard current and future organizational needs.
- Ability to understand performance metrics, business rules and to interpret data reports.
- Understanding of relevant regulatory and/or legislative compliance requirements that impact the organization.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and an ability to present to larger groups.
