This well-known Government Agency requires a Portfolio Category Manager to join their team at a great rate of pay. This job is located in Sydney Inner-West and offers hybrid working flexibility

**Your new role**

In your new position, you will be providing end to end portfolio management, supporting multiple categories of varying degrees of complexity. You will deliver a portfolio/category management plan that is inclusive of the strategic sourcing process and adheres to relevant policy and procedure requirements and ensures continuous value for money. You will continually analyse, review and monitor total category spend, and you will provide strategic insights and updates on category trends. You will support the delivery of Contract Management and Supplier Performance frameworks. You will utilise negotiation and influencing strategies, and you will actively engage and understand stakeholder requirements.

**What you'll need to succeed**

In order to be considered for this role, you will have substantial experience in complex supplier relationship management, and you will have senior experience in portfolio and category management across a broad range of portfolios. You will have a proven ability to analyse, report on and present complex data to stakeholders. You will have excellent problem-solving skills and strong stakeholder engagement and management skills. You will be a strong negotiator and influencer at all stakeholder levels.
