**Position Overview**

Join the exciting journey of our brand-new, purpose-built **Lidcombe service**, catering for 75 children. Open for less than a year, our centre offers a fresh and inspiring environment where you can truly make your mark.

As a **Diploma Educator**, you will play a key role in your room’s daily operations, ensuring high-quality education, strong routines, and a warm, inclusive environment. You’ll work alongside a passionate team of educators to deliver engaging programs that nurture each child’s growth and development.

This is your opportunity to be part of a centre still in its early days—building strong connections with families, supporting your colleagues, and delivering programs that foster curiosity, creativity, and care.

**Responsibilities**
- Lead and guide the educators in your room, fostering teamwork and professional growth.
- Plan, implement, and evaluate high-quality learning programs in line with the EYLF and NQS.
- Maintain effective routines and a safe, organised, and engaging learning space.
- Champion the health, safety, and wellbeing of all children in your care.
- Build strong, respectful relationships with families and keep them informed of their child’s progress.
- Support the centre’s culture of continuous improvement and reflective practice.

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)
- Proven experience as a Room Leader or strong interest in taking on a leadership role
- Current Working with Children Check
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications
- Child Protection training/certificate
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Passion for creating inspiring, engaging learning environments
