**Qualifications**
Background: Science or related field.
- Bachelor of Pharmacy
- Bachelor of Chemistry
- Bachelor of Science
- Bachelor of Chemical Engineering
- Bachelor of Industrial Engineering
- Alternatively, related fields.
**Experience**
- 3+ years of successful experience in Quality (i.e Assurance, Quality Control, Regulatory).
- Experience in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- **Preferably**: Work experience in ISO 9001, ISO 22716, ISO 17025 (Testing), AICIS and TGA.
- Industries: Chemical, and/or Cosmetic and/or Pharmaceutical and/or Food Manufacturing Industries.
**Skills**
- Possess strong communication skills - verbal and written.
- Excellent organisational skills and a pro-active attitude.
- Ability to work cooperatively with others (teamwork).
- Strong understanding of GMP and Compliance Quality-related processes.
- Project Management skills are a plus.
**Visa Requirements**
- Right to work in Australia (part-time or full-time), and/or
- Australian Permanent Residents, and
- Australian Citizens.
**Main responsibilities**
- Quality Assurance: Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure product or service quality meets industry standards.
- Quality Control: Plan, execute, and manage testing activities to identify defects and ensure product functionality, reliability, and performance.
- Data Analysis: Analyse quality data, including test results, production metrics, and customer feedback, to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Process Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and systems that impact product quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of quality assurance activities, including test plans, test cases, and test results.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Main standards: ISO 9001, ISO 22716, ISO 17025, AICIS.
- Training and Support: Provide training and support to team members on quality assurance processes and best practices.
- Continuous Improvement: Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of quality assurance processes and recommend improvements.
- Communication: Communicate with stakeholders, including management, customers, and suppliers, to address quality-related issues and drive quality improvement initiatives.
- Problem Solving: Identify and resolve quality-related problems in a timely manner to minimise impact on product delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks that could impact product quality or compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Audits: Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and identify areas for improvement.
- Reporting: Prepare and present reports on quality assurance activities and performance metrics to management and stakeholders.
**Salary**: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
