Smart Transport and IoT team deliver and supports Transportation and IoT solutions for Enterprise and Government customers. This encompasses Public Transportation, Intelligent Transport Systems, IoT and In Vehicle Telemetry solutions along with professional services and support.

This role is responsible for understanding the NEC Smart Transport and IoT domains, perform testing, prepare test automation frameworks, create relevant test artefacts, perform customer support functions, and create relevant technical support artefacts.

**Key Accountabilities**
- Use existing tools and techniques to execute test cases and build/script new tools for performing testing/validation function.
- Utilize scripting skills to enhance testing frameworks and automate repetitive tasks.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into test cases.
- Facilitate open communication and discussion between stakeholders, using feedback to assess and promote understanding of the need for future changes in services, products and systems.
- Ability to communicate with external stakeholders / customer about support requirements, service request and incidents.

**Skills**
- Over 4 years of extensive experience as a Test Analyst, consistently delivering successful testing and quality assurance outcomes for large and intricate projects.
- Proficient in communication and interpersonal skills, adept at collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated expertise in crafting precise and comprehensive test plans and test cases, with keen attention to detail.
- Skilled in utilizing QA automation frameworks for testing both Android and web-based systems (including APIs).

**Qualification & Experience**
- Relevant qualifications in verification and validation process and implementation
- Proven experience in software testing, with a focus on automation.
- Proficient scripting skills e.g. python.
- Familiarity with Agile processes, emphasizing continuous integration and delivery.

**Desirable**
- ISTQB Advanced certification
- AWS Experience
- Ability to develop tests in Gherkin.
