Glitch Productions is an independent animation studio based in Australia making original, long form animated shows distributed on Youtube. Our channel has over 12 million subscribers, tens of millions of views per episode and is still growing strong. Our studio is filled with incredibly talented and passionate artists that are determined to change the way animation is produced and treated in the industry. Our latest IP; Digital Circus, has amassed over 300 million views on the pilot alone and we have a lot more still to come.

**Job Information**:
Glitch Productions is seeking a detail-oriented and forward-thinking Financial Planning Analyst to support the financial health and growth of our company. In this role, you will work closely with the Finance Manager, Head of Operations, and Executive Team to design and implement robust financial reporting systems, analyse key data trends, and contribute to the company’s strategic decision-making processes. Glitch Productions is at the forefront of changing the way studios produce and fund content, and this role will see you helping chart the path we take and the innovations we make.

**Your duties will include**:

- Conduct in-depth analyses of business performance to identify trends, variances, and actionable insights for strategic decision-making.
- Support the development of forecasts, budgets, and plans across multiple business units to align with the company’s objectives.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and dashboards, including key performance indicators (K PIs), variance analysis, and actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
- Maintain and analyse data across functions to ensure accuracy, reliability, and usability for decision-making.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across business operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide insights, support, and guidance for initiatives and ongoing projects.
- Develop models and scenarios to evaluate potential business opportunities and risks across various departments.
- Analyse quantitative data in conjunction with qualitative insights provided by the brand team to uncover actionable insights.
- Understand the availability and impact of qualitative data, incorporating it into models and analyses without the responsibility of collecting it.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field. (desirable)
- At least 2 years of experience in business analysis, financial planning, or a similar role.
- A strong analytical mindset, paired with a flexible and curious approach, enabling the integration of quantitative data with qualitative insights to drive informed decision-making.
- Proficiency in software and tools for analysis, reporting, and collaboration (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
- A strong interest in the culture and industry surrounding Glitch, with the ability to understand and account for emerging internet trends and their impact on the business.
- Familiarly with analysing data across various platforms, including Shopify, Google and Youtube.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical data into accessible insights for diverse stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.

**Bonus Skills/Attributes**:

- An understanding or experience with the arts, animation, gaming, and/or ‘internet nerd’ culture.
- Experience in international financial markets, requirements, and regulations.
- Experience with retail, wholesaling, and/or logistics and related financial requirements.
