**Job Description** The Position**:
The Rehabilitation Counsellor / Counsellor or Social Worker is responsible for providing immediate short term interventions that are focused on the clients commencing or resuming paid employment. This will require you to conduct assessments on clients who have complex barriers to employment, providing recommendations and referrals to appropriate vocational and non-vocational services. This position provides interventions and advice to clients, working with atWork Australia staff members to tailor individualised Job Plans towards sustainable employment.

Key duties of the role will include:

- Offer counselling intervention as needed, utilising various psychological methodologies;
- Provide evaluations on assessments and monitor the progression of cases;
- Provide training and guidance to atWork staff on psychological services and procedures.

**Qualifications** What you need**:
Rehabilitation Counsellors must hold current membership with ASORC or RCAA.

Counsellors must hold current full membership Level 2 and above with ACA - Australian Counselling Association.

Qualification in Social Work and current, or eligibility to gain, membership with AASW.
- Genuine desire to work in a multidisciplinary assessment
- Experience working within employment services highly regarded;
- Relevant experience working with clients with mental health conditions (new graduates are welcome);
- The ability to proactively manage a case load and achieve outstanding results for the customer and client;
- The ability to grow our services and build strong relationships with key clients;
- Exceptional communication, rapport building skills and engagement;
- Proven ability to construct accurate and articulate case reports;
- Ability to work towards generating positive outcomes for clients.
- Ability to provide a Police Clearance (within 6 months) and Work with Children's Check
- Current driver's license and motor vehicle.
