Waiter/server/ Kitchen Hand/barista

Busy restaurant located within The Montague Apple Orchard in Lysterfield at our award winning venue with amazing views and a great bubbly team

Wait staff ~ with experience in a la carte'service & attention to detail with a bubbly personality.

Our customers are our number one priority Must be available to work a mixture of weekdays and weekends. Restaurant closes at 4pm, so breakfast & lunch shifts are available. Wedding & events are a few times a month, that run into the evening. Current RSA is recommended, but not essential. Previous experience in a busy restaurant is a must please

What you will be doing:

- Greeting and seating customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Taking orders and delivering food and beverages to tables in a timely manner
- Providing recommendations on menu items and wine pairings
- Clearing and resetting tables in preparation for the next guests
- Assisting with bar service and the set-up and service of functions and events
- Maintaining a high level of cleanliness and organisation in the dining areas
- Responding promptly to customer requests and addressing any issues or concern
- Strong customer service skills and a friendly, well-mannered demeanour and a high attention to presentation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for people
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Flexible and available to work a range of shifts, including evenings (only when we have private functions) weekends and public holidays

Barista:
Are you a coffee guru with a love for crafting the perfect cup? Can you pour a silky latte with a stunning Rosetta or Swan on top? If so, we want you on our team.

This role is all about coffee, so you must be available on Saturdays and Sundays to serve up quality brews to our weekend crowd. If you’ve got bartending experience too, even better We love a multi-skilled team member who can pour a killer espresso by day and shake up a cocktail by night (again only when we have private events on)

✔ Coffee art skills - we love a bit of flair in our flat whites

✔ Bonus points for bartending experience - not essential, but definitely a plus

Kitchen Hand/Prep:
We're seeking a Kitchen Hand/Dishwasher to join our team.

You'll be responsible for cleaning, dishwashing, and potentially some basic food prep.

**What you will need to have to succeed in this position**:

- Some prior experience is desired but not essential
- The ability to work at a good pace
- Team Player
- A ‘can do’ attitude
- A positive outlook on life
- Be available for a variety of shifts including weekends.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 30 per week

- Day shift
- Morning shift

**Experience**:

- Restaurant industry: 1 year (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
