**Description**:
ABOUT THE ROLE

In this position you’ll maintain the well-being of clients and help them work towards their goals and aspirations. You’ll provide general and clinical support in their day to day lives by assisting and encouraging them to participate in daily tasks such as meals, cleaning, medication and personal care. You will also assist them to live their best life by enabling them to engage in community participation activities.

**Criteria**:

- Diploma in Nursing or Cert IV in Nursing or relevant industry qualification with significant nursing experience. (Enrolled Nurse is highly desirable).
- Demonstrated expertise in the provision of services to people with complex support needs eg, High intensity medical needs. (Experience with Tracheostomy Management and PEG Feeding is desirable but training will be provided)
- Current Driver’s Licence
- A valid Yellow Card - Disability (Qld) or NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- Evidence of full COVID19 vaccination
- In-depth knowledge of infection control.
- Ability to mentor, share knowledge and information with less experienced team members.
- Demonstrated enhanced working knowledge of a person-centred approach.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to connect with your clients.
- Ability to follow complex individual support plans.
