We are a privately owned and operated residential aged care home that has been operating in Forest Lake since 2000. Our mission is to help and support people to live the best lives they can. At Forest Lake Lodge, we adopt a holistic approach to caring for our residents. This means nurturing and supporting each resident's emotional, physical, spiritual and recreational needs and desires. **About the role**
- Casual shifts - AM /PM/Night Shift - Monday to Friday Availability
- We adopted person-centered software to make your life easier through icon driven documentation.

**Qualifications**:
Certificate III & IV in Aged Care, Disability and Individual Support

**Key Responsibilities**

1. To know your residents well enough to know their preferences, and be able to promptly recognize and act on changes in health conditions.
2. The daily care, safety and well-being of our residents.
3. To support the Registered Nurses to deliver individualized care through following care planning and support planning.
4. Maintain and facilitate clear and consistent communication with families, external service providers and other relevant stakeholders.
5. To document appropriately.
6.To lead by example always by following policies, procedures and management work instructions and helping us to deliver on our mission.
7. Abide by the Code of Conduct.
8. Stay up to date with training.
9. Any other duties as required.
10. Positively contribute to our plan for continuous improvement, with your feedback we make things better

**Minimum Qualifications**

1. Certificate III in aged care or disability support.
2. Current first aid and CPR certificate desirable.
3. Medication endorsed would be highly desirable.

**Skills and Experience**

1. Some experience with the elderly or disabled and ideally would have worked with people with dementia.
2. Reliable and committed to the Forest Lake Lodge family.
3. Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English.
4. An energetic and dynamic person with effective time management skills.
5. You will be a quick learner and proficient with basic IT systems.
6. Vietnamese language would also be desirable.

Pay: $37.64 per hour

- Afternoon shift
- Morning shift

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)
