Hourly Rate: $38.15 - $39.39

Busy Bees at Campbelltown is preparing for an exciting new chapter, and we’re looking for a dedicated and confident Assistant Director (2IC) to help lead our team. Our beautifully designed centre features engaging learning environments and spacious outdoor areas, fostering strong connections with children, families and the community.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced early childhood professional ready to step into or grow within a leadership role. You’ll work closely with the Centre Director to ensure the service runs smoothly day to day, while supporting educators to deliver high-quality outcomes for children and families.

As Assistant Director (2IC), you will:
- Support the Centre Director in leading the day-to-day operations of the centre- Help manage staffing, enrolments, compliance and parent communication- Mentor and guide the educator team to ensure high standards of care and education- Assist in implementing quality improvement plans and meeting NQS standards- Step into the Director role as needed during absences- Build strong relationships with children, families, team members, and external stakeholders

What We’re Looking For- Diploma or higher qualification in Early Childhood Education (as recognised by ACECQA)- Valid Working With Children Check- First Aid certificate, including asthma and anaphylaxis training- Strong knowledge of EYLF, NQS and the Education and Care Services National Regulations- Previous experience in a leadership role such as 2IC, Assistant Director, or similar- Excellent communication, organisation and time management skills- A positive, proactive attitude and strong leadership presence
