Job Title: Support Worker

Location: Southeast Suburbs

**Job Type**: Casual

Job Summary:
We are seeking reliable and experienced Level 2 - Male and Female Support Workers to join our team in Southeast Suburbs. As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to individuals who require assistance with daily living activities. You will be working with clients who may have disabilities, mental health conditions, or aged care needs. Your role will be to help our clients maintain their dignity, independence, and quality of life. We are looking for Support Workers who are highly available, with a flexible schedule that allows for shifts on weekends and public holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assisting clients with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, feeding, and mobility
- Administering medication and monitoring the health status of clients
- Providing emotional support and companionship to clients
- Accompanying clients to appointments and social events
- Assisting with household chores such as cooking, cleaning, and laundry
- Maintaining accurate records of daily activities and reporting any concerns to the supervisor
- Collaborating with other team members to ensure quality care is provided to clients

**Requirements**:

- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability or Aged Care
- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work on a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays
- Willingness to undergo a police check and provide a working with children check
- Previous experience as a Support Worker is highly desirable

**Salary**: $32.00 - $63.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Morning shift
- Shift work

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Melbourne, VIC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- Driver Licence (required)
- NDI screening check (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
