**Job Description - Graduate Accounts Officer**

**Job Responsibilities - Graduate Accounts Officer**
- In this Graduate Accounts Officer role your responsibilities will include:_
- Reporting on all accounts payables for business activities.
- Supporting the entire accounting and treasury team to ensure financial reports are completed accurately and in time for management meeting and meeting compliance requirements.
- Using your knowledge, skills and experience to provide advice on the financial health and cash flow position of the company and clients by examining data such as revenue, costs, expenses and profitability through automated financial systems.
- Account payables daily & weekly processing & payments
- Daily bank reconciliation
- Monthly prepayments & accruals bookings
- Maintaining Vendor master list and accounting ledgers by posting accounting transactions.
- Setting up beneficiaries for international payments
- Managing Employee reimbursement and corporate cards transactions reconciliation
- Resolving accounting discrepancies by investigating documentation; issuing stop payments, payments, or adjustments
- Maintaining financial security by following internal accounting controls
- Assisting other accountants to prepare the monthly financial reports and quarterly shareholder updates.

**Job Requirements - Graduate Accounts Officer**
- A degree in Commerce with Accounting/Finance major preferred but not essential.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Prior proven experience in accounts payable and bank reconciliations highly regarded but not essential
- Demonstrated high attention to detail and ability to check facts accurately.
- Tech Savvy
- Works well under pressure.
- Experience with an ERP system (particularly Netsuite) is a plus
