**About the Opportunity**
AFP is currently seeking an experienced Service Manager to join our high performing team based in North Coogee WA 6163.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, this position requires you to take responsibility and support the execution and delivery of Aussie Fluid Power (AFP) service & project jobs. Working across diverse business areas, you will use your experience and knowledge to overcome problems to ensure jobs are delivered on time and on budget while meeting the quality and HSEQ expectations required by AFP and its clients.

Coming into a well-organised and established team, you will lead Supervisors, Leading Hands, Technicians, and Apprentices (approximately 25 staff) in the execution of your duties. We are seeking someone who has experience in similar positions and strong exposure to the hydraulics industry.

Your key responsibilities in this role will include;
- Lead the execution of project and service jobs based within the workshop and onsite
- Management of job/project procurement and subcontractor activities as needed
- Chair and attend service prestart meetings and WIP meetings as directed
- Review Sales/Service/Project Jobs before acceptance
- Raise Service/Warranty jobs within the system
- Provide direction on job prioritisation and scheduling of resources
- Liaising with other departments to ensure information available for execution of jobs
- Updating the Labour and Asset tracker tools
- Client liaison regarding jobs on technical and commercial matters
- Development of staff
