Due to continued growth within Capgemini's Insights & Data practice, we intend to recruit a BI Engineer with relevant consulting and communication skills. **Roles and responsibilities**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Validate data consistency and completeness across systems.
- Identify and document data discrepancies and anomalies, collaborating with technical teams to resolve issues.
- Collaborate with data engineers and stakeholders to define and meet data quality standards.
- Contribute to testing strategies for functional, regression, and performance testing.
- Support business and technical teams in data-driven decision-making through effective communication of test results.

**Required Skills**:

- **Data Quality Assurance**: Strong understanding of data quality principles and best practices for ensuring accurate, complete, and reliable data.
- **SQL Proficiency**: Expertise in SQL for querying databases, validating data, and conducting detailed data analysis.
- **Testing Methodologies**: Knowledge of testing methodologies, including functional, regression, and performance testing.
- **Analytical Skills**: Sharp analytical skills to identify data discrepancies, trends, and patterns.
- **Attention to Detail**: A high level of attention to detail, essential for detecting subtle issues in data quality.
- **Communication Skills**: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities for collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
